Kids Culinary Instructor - Summer Camps

Love cooking and working with kids? Come work at Hudson Table! We are an interactive culinary studio and event space located in Northern Liberties in Philadelphia, PA. We are looking for a talented Chef to teach kids hands-on summer camps for ages 4-14 and potentially throughout the year cooking classes, birthday parties, and summer camps for ages 4-14.  

Summer camp runs from June 15th - August 21st. Most camp days run from 10am - 3:30pm. Staff hours are typically 8:30am-4pm. We are looking for someone to be able to teach Monday - Friday for at least 4 weeks during the summer. Teaching experience, especially with children, is a plus. Must have kitchen experience or have attended culinary school.

Compensation: Shift pay - $215/day plus additional tips

Responsibilities include:

Lead hands-on culinary camps for children in a fun, engaging, and age-appropriate manner

Teach pre-developed lesson plans and recipes while maintaining pacing and structure

Demonstrate proper cooking techniques, kitchen safety, and sanitation standards

Supervise and support campers during food prep, cooking, and cleanup

Create a positive, inclusive, and encouraging classroom environment

Manage class time effectively to complete all planned activities and recipes

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen throughout each session

Communicate clearly with campers, parents, and studio staff as needed

Adapt instruction and provide guidance to accommodate varying skill levels

Assist with setup and breakdown of classes, including equipment and ingredients

Uphold company policies, food safety guidelines, and child safety protocols
