Hudson Table is hiring for a Waiters and Service positions to help execute catered events and public dinners in our Hoboken location. This role prepares the space for events such as weddings, rehearsal dinners, baby and bridal showers, and dinners. During the event, you will responsible for greeting guests, anticipating guest needs, setting up the space and buffet for appetizers, entrees and dessert, helping to clean up after the event is finished, and overall acting in a professional manner to assist in the completion of a flawless event. Excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to think and act quickly and effectively, while retaining self-composure are essential.

- At least 2 years relevant experience in hosting/serving/waitering in a restaurant or at events.
- Excellent communication skills are required; ability to listen and make a connection.
- Must have availability to work Thursday-Sunday.
- Must be able to handle a fast paced environment in a hospitable manner with professionalism and poise.
- Must be comfortable and skilled at communicating with chefs, kitchen assistants and guests
- Ability to carry multiple beverages, clear tables efficiently and assist dishwashers by bussing dish and cookware to the dishroom.
- Position entails standing and walking during the entire shift.
Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
